'Security checkup' can be done on Instagram

Instagram has launched a 'security checkup' facility for everyone to use Instagram safely. Using the security tool, Instagram users can check if their account is secure. In addition to knowing whether the password used in the account is strong or weak, it is also possible to know if it has ever been the victim of a cyber attack.


In July last year, Instagram launched the tool for a certain number of users. At the time, Instagram said that only Instagram users who had been the victims of a cyber attack could use the tool.


Using the security tool, which is open to everyone, it is possible to know the login history of the account, whether it has secretly exchanged information or not. There are also tips and guidelines for enhancing account security. The tool can be accessed by accessing Instagram's settings and selecting Security Checkup from the Security Options.


Along with security tools, Instagram has launched the 'Your Activity' feature. Exchanged posts or photos can be quickly deleted using this new feature. If desired, they can be saved by typing the date in the archive option. There will also be opportunities to control multiple accounts at once.
