The auction of 6 cars of Evali will be held tomorrow morning



Seven cars of e-commerce company Evali will be sold in an open auction tomorrow, Thursday at 11 am. The auction will be held at Victoria Convention Center, House No. 3, Road No. 14, Dhanmondi, Dhaka.


Today, Wednesday, the current managing director (MD) said. This information has been given in a notification signed by Mahbub Kabir. Mahbub Kabir is an Additional Secretary to the Government on Retirement Leave (PRL).

The decision to sell the vehicles at auction has been taken in accordance with the directions of the High Court Division, the notification said. The auction will be held under the supervision of a High Registrar and an Assistant Registrar of the High Court as per an earlier directive of the High Court. At this time, the necessary number of police will be deployed to ensure the security of the office of Evali and to avoid the chaos of the creditors.



Registering the vehicles in the name of Evali.com Limited. Their current certificate of registration and tax token is said to be with the current board of Evali.

On February 3, the current board of directors issued a notification for the sale of seven vehicles, including a luxury Range Rover worth Tk 2.85 crore. The minimum price of the cars has been fixed at Tk 2 crore 36 lakh 7 thousand. Most cars are jeeps.

After paying the purchase price of the product in Evali, the product and money are not returned. A customer named Farhad Hossain filed an application in the High Court in September last year. Following the hearing, the same bench on September 22 last year banned the sale and transfer of Evali's assets. On October 18, the High Court constituted a five-member committee headed by HM Samsuddin Chowdhury, a former judge of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court.

Evali MD said. Mahbub Kabir said in the first light on his mobile phone today, the auction will be called in the traditional way. Anyone can take part in it.



Asked what will be done with the money from the sale of the car, Mahbub Kabir said, "Our chairman will talk about this tomorrow."
Meanwhile, the central parliament of the Evali Merchant and Consumer Co-ordination Committee held a human chain protest in front of the Evali office on February 8 and at Caravan Bazaar at 3 pm today, urging them not to auction Avali's car now.
Mohammad Russell, MD of Evali, and his wife Shamima Nasrin, the chairman, were arrested on September 16 last year on fraud charges. They are currently in jail.
